KARACHI: An eleven-year-old boy got electric shock by a high-voltage wire after he lost balance and fell from the second floor of madrassa in Surjani Town karachi on Friday.
This is the second case to have surfaced within a week.
According to reports, the boy named Haris tried to hold on to a low-hanging high tension wire as he fell down from the building.
The both arms of the boy were badly burnt and later amputated.
The mournful father of the boy has filed a case against K-Electric, the city’s only power supplier.
On Thursday, eight-year-old boy Umer from Karachi Ahsanabad area was electrocuted when a loose wire fell on him while he was playing in the street, he also had to have both of his arms amputated.
Sindh Governor Imran Ismail took note of the occurrence, while K-Electric expressed grief to the family.
